Introduction

Hi Everyone reading my Blog...I am a single dad to Seth a great 12 year old. I am also physically challanged. I hate the word disabled, so you won't here me use it that much. I have a form of Muscular Dystrophy (Limb-Girdle). It has it's challanges, but so far it hasn't got me. I do use an electric wheelchair, my son along with my brother and sister-in-law help me quite a lot. They are my strength.

I have tried to blog before but I let it go, but with this blog I hope to let everyone see day by day the struggles, and the highs of rasing a 12 year old, while having a physical limitation.

The past 3 weeks have not been a whirlwind. I was divorced on April 2, 2009 after 22 years of marriage. That is the last you will hear of that. It's life...I'm done, I'm over it. Don't want to talk about it.

I had a problem with a Kidney Stone 2 weeks ago. You want to talk about pain? Worst pain I have ever felt. I am now scared to death to drink anything but water. After the Kidney Stone thing I developed Pneumonia and was hospitlized for 3 days. Now, after all that I'm feeling fine.

Seth and I live in a small southeastern Ohio town. We have our own home and do pretty good. We work as a team, although sometimes it does get rough.

I will post different things about our lives. Different dishes we try and make for dinner, LOL. Sometimes they are good sometimes we throw them out and head to the restaurant up the street. I must say Seth makes a wicked Lasagna.
